As part of the 2014 national curriculum year 2 students are expected to be able to spell most of the year 2 common exception words correctly by the end of the year. Each week I will post a new strategy that you can use with your child to help them learn their weekly spelling as well as the common exception words. You may choose to focus on a few at a time until your child is confident spelling them.
