Marvellous me day in Reception

This half term our topic focus has been "Marvellous me". We have discussed our families, our likes and dislikes and talked about ourselves. Today the children in Reception had a WOW day to celebrate the end of our topic and  they had an opportunity to showcase their individualities and celebrate what makes us, us.

Weekly Newsletter- 20th December 2019

Dear Parents,

What a lovely week we’ve had in school. Our choir sang beautifully at the St Paul’s Christmas concert and despite the rain our carol service in the playground was well attended and the children did us proud. At times like this I am bursting with pride as I’m sure you are.

We have come to the end of a long term and I am sure that the whole school community is looking forward to a well earned rest. The staff certainly are after what we’ve had to put up with from those mischevious elves! Hopefully you’ve been able to follow the elves antics on facebook with your children-We have certainly had some fun this week!

It was lovely to see everyone supporting the children at their Christmas concerts. They certainly did us all proud. I am pleased to report that we raised the grand total of £1210 which we sincerely hope will help one of our local families through a very difficult time. On behalf of them thank you so much for your generosity.

On behalf of myself and all the staff thank you so much for your cards and generous gifts-I think some of us will be putting on a lot of weight over Christmas!
