Thumbs Up in Crime Lab!

This week in Crime Lab, Years 3 and 4 pupils have been looking at how professionals take casts of criminal marks!
Casts are made so that some pieces of evidence from a crime scene can be kept and studied in further detail up close, such as a foot print.

We practised this technique by casting our own thumbs!

While our thumbs were drying, we went detective searching for clues in another classroom.
We also took part in a microscopic quiz! Can you guess what any of these items are? (They have been zoomed in 20 times)

The children gave today's session an extra thumbs up!
