At Mead we believe that our pupils need a high quality outdoor environment to explore and investigate. Evidence shows that using the outdoors effectively enhances all outcomes for pupils - particularly language and social behaviours.
Therefor we were delighted to come back this week to see the progress made on the tree house in the EYFS & Y1 outdoor area. This structure will give the pupils a fantastic opportunity for imaginative play. With at least two levels, ladders, ramps and musical equipment it will be a great place to climb, explore and play!
Hopefully the tree house will be completed by the end of the half term!
