 Christmas is definitely in the air across the Reception corridor as this week we learnt and performed a poem all about Father Christmas. Our poem this week was called "His hair is white".

Year 1 Firework Night Poem

 

In English we are learning all about a poem called ‘On Firework Night’ by Andrew Collett. We have created signs to perform with the poem and have learned all about the different types of fireworks. Today we created firework art to help us describe the different fireworks using adjectives.

Glorious bees

 It was another poem the children in reception learnt this week during our poetry basket sessions. This weeks poem was all about bees in celebrating of national bee day.
