We are chefs!

Some of the children in years 3 and 4 have been creating some culinary delights this half term on their University of Mead course. Today they made a healthy pasta or rice salad, using ingredients such as peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, sweetcorn and spring onions. I'm sure you'll agree that their salads look delicious.

Epic salad

This afternoon, the pupils in the Clever Cooker-less cooking group had to make an epic salad and dressing.

They had to cut and peel numerous ingredients from onions to mangoes, tomatoes to avocados. They worked well in their groups and have taken home a delicious salad. Perfect for this hot weather!
