Freshwater Theatre group visited us this week and the Year 2
children had fun engaging in a historical drama workshop. Through drama they experienced the London of
1666 as they recreated life in Pudding Lane.
They became the fire as it grew and spread, meeting Samuel Pepys.
Concluding with a debate about the rebuilding of the city looking at how the
fire changed London. It was a great way
to involve the children in history and one which helped them remember key
facts!
'I found out that more people died from the Plague than the Great Fire of London' said Isabel.
