Please be reminded that, to ensure your child’s safety, you must let the office know if someone different is picking up.

Message from Veggie Run
Just a reminder of Mead School code 7709 which you need to create a Veggie Run account. You need to sign up if you want the chance to win one of our fabulous prizes.

We still have four ‘Learning Outside of the Classroom’ activity days at Stubbers Adventure Centre to be won on the 27, 28 and 29 March (2 schools on the same day). This is a class trip for 30 pupils, plus free transport to and from the venue. The four new schools to show the highest percentage meal uptake against role number will be awarded the prizes on the 20 March.

Also, I am pleased to tell you that one of your pupils has won a West Ham United Foundation Voucher.
Well done to Zachary M in Canada class who receives a £25 West Ham voucher.

Diary Dates
Monday 4th March -Cycle club with Phil for year 5

Tuesday 5th March- Year 5 Science afternoon

Wednesday 6th March- Forest School session for some of our year 3 pupils

Thursday 7th March-World Book Day-We are really looking forward to seeing the children in their costumes.

Friday 8th March-During the morning year 6 will be taking part in Macbeth workshops

Havering Catering Services
Week beginning 4th March is week 1 on the Havering Catering Services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and cost £2.20.

Please be reminded to top up your child’s catering account as we cannot provide dinners for pupils whose accounts exceed a debt of £10.

Attendance Update
Well done to Argentina class who had the highest attendance in Y5&6 at 94.6% . Wales and Italy tied with the highest attendance in LKS2 and overall at an impressive 99.2% and Palau had the highest attendance in KS1 at 97.9%. Well done to them! The overall attendance has improved slightly but is still below our target of 96%.
