Wales was home to lots of colourful book characters as the year threes celebrated World Book Day!
As part of the celebration, the children designed a sweet that Willy Wonka might want to make and sell in his factory. The inventors then created the sweet from their plans, using paints, bottles, pipe cleaners, and anything else they could think of! Finally, polishing their persuasive writing techniques, the children wrote a pitch to sell their new sweet to Willy Wonka himself and presented it to the class. There are definitely lots of future advertising executives in Wales class!
The winner of the Golden Ticket was Dinuki, who created a hair colour changing lollipop with a fantastic pitch.
Wales class then voted on the best costume, choosing Freddie's zombie. Thank you to all the parents who helped create such fantastic costumes, and all the children in Wales for an exciting day.
