I have been asked by a number of parents if their children can wear purple tomorrow in memory of Jodie Chesney.
I am aware that many of you have gone to great expense for the World Book Day costumes and really don't want you to feel you have to now go and buy an item of clothing for tomorrow.
Therefore, there is no expectation that your child wear something purple but equally I am happy for those who wish to wear something purple to do so.
It may be something as simple as a hair band or ribbon.
