Jamaica class used their senses today, just like Hoppy the bunny in our story which transitions from winter to spring!
We sniffed the cold winter air, looked for signs of spring, listened to the relaxing natural sounds of rain on the shelter and the birdsong.
We warmed our hands in warm water to get ready for a feely bag activity. Fun, fun, fun on the cold, grey, damp day.
The trees, plants and ground enjoyed a big, long rainy drink, helping them to get ready for a rush of spring growth!
