Jamaica class had fun in the sun at Forest School this week!
We named minibeasts, hunted for them, and collected dry stems for our bug hotel!
It was fantastic to see the way the children could identify dry stems and pick just those ... and not any other plant from the meadow. Great observation and visual discrimination skills!
We found lots of minibeasts too: spiders, centipedes, woodlice and hover flies coming out to warm themselves in the Spring sunshine.
