Dear Parents / Carers,
RE: Year 6 Swimming Lessons.
Swimming lessons for Year 6 will begin on Monday 10th May 2021.
Swimming lessons will be every Monday morning and we will be walking to the swimming pool.
Children need to bring a swimming costume (not a bikini) or trunks and a towel. A swimming hat will be provided to them by the school which they will need to bring with them every week. If your child loses their hat there will be a £1.00 charge for a new one.
All children are required to attend swimming each week in Year 6 as this is part of the curriculum. Only under very special circumstances would we agree to a child not participating and in this instance we would expect a letter from the parent/carer with a valid reason.
