Another great afternoon full of exploration and fun in the forest with Year 3. The hammock was up and well used throughout the session. The mini beast hotel was re stocked with a range of sticks, bark and leaves. There was plenty of hide and seek with the cows parsley providing good cover. Some climbing today and also artistic creations on the ground. It was lovely to see Year 3 following their own interests, including their peers in their ideas and working together.
The forest floor provided much entertainment and inspiration today. One child began trying to smooth the floor with a stone. Another was drawn to him and together they worked on a sculpture made from the dried mud and other items they found. They took such time, effort and care as they worked on their creation.
Well done Year 3!
