Year 5 RE Workshop

This half term Year 5 are looking at why prayer is important for religious believers. Today Year 5 looked at 'why Christians pray' and 'why different Christians celebrate Holy Communion' in an RE Workshop led by Miss Johnson (who is a First Holy Communion Catechist at Brentwood Cathedral). The children talked about why people remember important events with different celebrations and linked it to why Christians remember the Last Supper by celebrating Holy Communion each week at Church. The children asked and responded brilliantly to questions surrounding this topic!
