This half term, the pupils have the opportunity to make choices about their own learning and enjoy studying something new through the University of Mead programme. In the first lesson of the ‘Green-fingered Gardening’ course, the pupils had to make their own planters using toilet rolls which are decompostable. They each made 3 and then planted sweetpea, sunflower and basil seeds. They watered them and then throughout this week, they need to care for them.
