Year 5 are Penguins!

This term in English, year 5 have been learning all about penguins so that they can write a well informed non-chronological report. This week we discovered that when female penguins lay their eggs, they must quickly and carefully pass it to the males for safekeeping so they can go and hunt for food. To understand the difficulty of this, year 5 had to work with each other to pass the “egg” without it being on the ground for too long.
