Year 5 are Biome Explorers!

To kick start our new geography topic of biomes, year 5 took part in a virtual reality workshop with PrimeVR . During this time the children were able to get a sense of how climate, landscape, plants and animals differ across our planet. This immersive learning experience transported the children to the vast Amazon rainforest where they saw different species of monkeys, Antarctica to see penguins, the Savannah to see lions and to the Arctic to see what the sky at night looks like without light pollution.
