Our children have done a lot of growing last term, and so our forest has become bigger! We had lots of new areas to explore. Luckily, the rain held off long enough for us to listen to the story of the three little pigs, and build shelters for own little animals! Children used sticks, mud and leaves to protect their squirrels, bunnies and hedgehogs from the weather.
We had fun digging for treasure, experimenting with buckets and pulleys, cooking in the mud kitchen, and playing our special forest school hide and seek.
Now we are familiar with our big new space, we are looking forward to new adventures next week!
