Year 3 children are currently working on a song called ’The Dragon song.’ The song is about Lesley-the dragon who flew
around the world looking for some friends. The song introduces traditional
tunes and folk melodies from around the world that Lesley might have listened
to during her travels.
So far, we have listened to music from India and Turkey, sang 2 verses of the song, played an instrumental part using glockenspiels and improvised using 3 notes.
