Newsletter 29.06.18



Dear Parents,
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the Learning Federation Fete on Saturday. Our LFPA have been working hard to ensure it will be and fun day and to top it off the sun is going to shine!

Diary Dates

Saturday 30th June 11:00-16:00-Learning Federation Fete at Mead

Monday 2nd July -Year 3 Parents are invited to visit our wonderful farm 14:00-15:00
9:30-12:00 -YRS 5&6 Sports Day
1:30-2:45 -YR 1 Sports Day

Tuesday 3rd July -The Shooting Stars circus skills team are in school for year 5. Year 6 pupils who are attending Drapers Academy will not be in school as it is their transition day. Parents of our year 1 children are invited into school between 14:00 and 15:00 for their showcase and parents of our reception children can come into school to visit the School Farm

1:30-2:45 -YR 2 Sports Day

Wednesday 4th July- Key Stage 2 School Councillors are visiting Westminster. Some of our older pupils will be representing Mead in a cricket competition at Draper’s Pyrgo Primary School. Nursery parents are invited in to school between 10:30 and 11:30 (morning children) or 14:00 and 15:00 (afternoon children) to visit our wonderful farm. Parents of our year 4 children are invited into school between 14;00 and 15;00 for their showcase

Thursday 5th July -Our Harry Potter club children are visiting Harry Potter Studios. Parents of our year 1 children are invited in to school to see our wonderful farm between 14:00 and 15:00
1:30-2:45 -Reception Sports Day

Friday 6th July- Year 3 children are visiting The Orbit. Some of our children have been invited to visit Havering Sixth Form college for an Aspirational Day, others will be accompanying Mr Robinson to Eton Manor RFC where they will be taking part in a Tag Rugby competition. Our year 6 maths team will be taking part in the Havering Maths Quiz. Year 5 pupils will be welcoming their parents in to school for their showcase between 14:00 and 15:00. Year 6 parents are invited into school to see our wonderful farm between 14:00 and 15:00

Havering Catering Services
Week beginning 2nd July is Week 2 on the Havering Catering Services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and cost £2.20.

Attendance
Well done to Canada class who had the highest attendance in Y5&6 at 96.7%. A massive well done to N.Ireland who had the highest attendance in LKS2 and overall at 100% and have now earned themselves a cupcake party. Palau had the highest attendance in KS1 at 96.3%. Well done to them!. The overall attendance was better at 94.9% but still short of our 96% target!
