Year 3 Spellings

These will be the last spellings of the term. Please ensure that your child practises their spellings every night for 15 minutes. The children will be tested on these spellings on Friday 8th December 2017. (Some children will have different spellings if they attend Read Write Inc sessions)

Please encourage your child to practice their spellings by putting these words into sentences on the back of their sheet. Merits will be awarded for extra effort!



Blue words: Focus of the week – Words ending in ‘ture’
Orange words: Year ¾ National curriculum word list.
Green words: Vocabulary of the Week – Christmas!
Gold word: Challenge word!
