Last week the children enjoyed their final forest school session of the term.
It was a cold one - great
timing for a fire! There’s nothing like a fire to keep you warm and encourage a
sense of community.
The children were drawn towards to fire for warmth but
conversation flowed. Some of the children’s reflections included there
favourite parts.
Sydney, “I loved doing the blind trail.”
Aniyah, “My favourite part was trying to make a fire.”
Others shared how they have changed
from coming along to forest school sessions.
Jessie, “I’m not scared of spiders
anymore.”
Mehmet, “I’ve learnt to work with
different people.”
We closed with a time of
encouragement for each other as we extinguished the fire in our closing
ceremony.
We look forward to welcoming a new group of children to Forest School in the new term.
