Reception visit St Paul's Church

Reception Church Visit

On Friday Reception children enjoyed a visit to St Paul’s Church, where they got to hear the Christmas story from Reverend Russell Moul and sing some carols. We were even told the meaning of the advent candle and what it symbolises. The children listened beautifully, and asked questions afterwards, Alexis asked Rev Moul ‘Why was Jesus not born in a hospital like babies are supposed to be?’  The children then had the chance to explore the church - Arwyn used the microphone to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

We all had a lovely time and enjoyed exploring another local amenity. The children made us all very proud as they demonstrated fantastic behaviour and were all so sensible with their road safety.

Thank you to all the parents for making sure that the children were wrapped up warm for the walk and to Russell for allowing us to visit his church.
