Year 3 Natural History Museum Trip

As part of the Year 3’s Spring topic on Earthquakes and Volcanoes, we have organised a school trip to the Natural History Museum in London on Monday 8th January 2018 to explore the museum and watch an action-packed Earthquakes and Volcanoes show.

The children will investigate geological forces from deep within the Earth, make a real earthquake and pour lava - but will it gain the skills and knowledge to save a town from catastrophe? The show also highlights the awesome power of our planet's natural forces and demonstrates the importance and challenge of natural disaster prediction.

There is a voluntary contribution of £3 per child towards the cost of the show which should be paid via sQuid online. Please speak to the office if you are having any issues with signing in. Please sign the permission slip for your child and return it to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible.

Please fill in the letter and return to your child’s class teacher by Friday 5th January 2017 (first Friday back after Christmas).

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher or contact them by email on year3@mead.havering.sch.uk. Thank you.
