Year 3 continued their Topic learning this week, after being visited by a World War Two workshop. The children used freeze frames to recreate iconic photos of evacuees being taught in a field, tube stations being used as shelters and children being reunited with their families after the Blitz. They were shown gas masks that were used in WW2, which they found fascinating. The children extended their knowledge of Propaganda by guessing what each poster was asking them to do. It has been great to use the workshop to consolidate their learning!
