'Hanging out' in Forest School!

The children enjoyed a calm session under the shelter of the trees yesterday.
Everybody had a turn in the hammock and were very pleased to rest from the heat as they gently rocked.

Transient art, whittling arrows and shelter building took place, with some children trying to build fire structures and work to further develop the fire pits.
Some children even discovered that the ground was actually molten lava and moved around using tree stumps, rocks and large fallen branches to balance on, therefore saving them from getting burned!
