Dear Parents and Carers,
As you are aware, Year 5 pupils will be departing for their first residential trip to Mersea Island tomorrow. Please ensure that you child brings their luggage and equipment with them in the morning. Pupils should arrive at school in warm comfortable clothing, which they can wear for the day's activities and therefore they do not need to wear school uniform to school tomorrow.
Please ensure that your child has a packed lunch with them, in a carrier bag or rucksack and not their main luggage.
As the weather is currently forecast to rain, please ensure that pupils bring waterproof clothing, waterproof footwear, extra socks and a change of footwear. We also advise packing warm clothing.
