Year Six Trips

18th June 2019

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are pleased to inform you that a number of trips have been arranged for Year 6.

Please find below the trips and the scheduled dates accordingly:

● Junior Citizens Trip – Wednesday 26th June

As part of the transition to secondary school, the children have been invited to a ‘Junior Citizen’ event. This is hosted by the Metropolitan Police and helps the children to understand what it means to be a good citizen. We will be going to London Road, Romford by coach, leaving school at 1pm and returning around 3:30pm, children should be dressed in school uniform with sensible shoes.

● Metro Bank - Thursday 27th June

Metro Bank Money Zone introduces children of KS2 to financial skills, helping them to build financial understanding and financial capability. As a part of this programme we are visiting the bank to see these skills in practise. As it is a normal working day, the bank can only accommodate one class at a time.

· Argentina will be visiting the bank at 10am – 10:45am

· Chile will be visiting the bank at 11am – 11:45am

· Brazil will visiting the bank at 1pm – 2pm

There is no cost for either of these trips.

If you have any questions please see the class teacher.

Yours sincerely,

Year six
