School Uniform & Feedback

I’m sure you’ll agree the children all look very smart in their new school uniform. Thank you for the effort you put into your children’s appearance this week. It was a wonderful sea of bottle green jumpers and bright new badges that greeted us at the gate on Wednesday morning. All of the children seemed to be walking that little bit taller and feeling very proud of their new uniform and badge. With the smart shoes, fabulous haircuts and bright smiles it was a great start to the term!

For those of you who have enquired- it is, of course, still acceptable for our children to wear the ‘old’ uniform, as I am aware in some cases it is relatively new.

Furthermore, it isn't necessary to have the school badge on the jumpers or polo shirts. As long as you follow the colour of white polo shirt and bottle green jumper then your children will meet the expectation.

On a separate note we have listened to the feedback about the uniform service. We have been reassured by the school shop that they will get orders processed ASAP. Some comments have not been very positive: long waits, poor levels of stock, issues over cost & general difficulties in getting hold of the new uniform. We will be relaying this poor feedback to Havering Schoolwear and looking at alternative suppliers who could possible supplement or replace the service. Whilst the issues were out of our control we feel it reflects badly on the school if you have such a difficult experience and we will look to do all we can to remedy it.
