INSET Day - 5th October (school closed to pupils)

We have booked the 5th October as our 3rd INSET day, which will be held jointly with Broadford. This will be focusing on key expectations for teaching so that all pupils across the Federation are getting a similar high quality experience. School will be closed to pupils on this day.

Y4 Swimming
Swimming starts for our year 4 children next week. You should have already received notification of dates and times but I understand there has been some confusion so have listed dates and times for individual classes below:

• Germany-Mondays 9:30-10:30
• Greece-Mondays 10:00-10:30
• Italy-Wednesdays 9:30-10:00

All children have to wear a swimming hat -these will be provided by the school free of charge.

Please note pupils must be in school on time, as classes attending the earlier session need to leave school by 9:00am.

School Nurse
Our school nurse comes into school monthly for drop-in sessions, when you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or worries you may have about your child. Please visit the website for dates. 

On Thursday next week (15th Sept) at 2:30pm we have the School Nurse coming in to talk to Mother’s & Daughters in Years 5&6 about puberty. You will receive further information from your class teacher.
