Have your say!

This half term, the pupils in Year 4 have been finding out about 'Living Things and their Habitats' in their Science lessons. In particular, they have been learning about how humans can both positively and negatively impact habitats.

One of their tasks was to think about how they can make our school grounds more biodiverse and wildlife friendly.

In the lesson, they wrote their letter to Councillor Mandy Anderson in role as the new Headteacher of Mead Primary school. We then invited Councillor Mandy Anderson to come in to our school and read their letters. We would like to thank her for coming in and spending time talking to the pupils about their ideas. They much appreciated the opportunity to celebrate their fantastic ideas.
