We had to say goodbye today to the special guests we have had in year 2. Our chicks sadly went back to the farm today after providing us with some wonderful memories. We have spent the last two weeks watching them hatch and grow. This experience is linked to our work on living things, life cycles and habitats. It has been so lovely seeing the chicks emerge from their shells and we were amazed how quickly they changed. Even after a few days you could see their feathers growing.
"Did you know the brown chicks were the girls and the yellow ones were the boys?" said Roman.
