The reception classes were filled with eager readers this afternoon as parents/carers were invited in to come and share in a love of reading. It was great to welcome so many of you this afternoon, seeing the children sharing their favourite books and keen to join in with familiar stories. Reading allows children to delve into their imaginations and immerse themselves in a language rich environment. A fun fact reading for just 15 minutes a day, in one year you will have read over 1,000,000 words!
