Last week Y6 explored Rock music. The children listened to some famous bands like Guns N’Roses and Bon Jovi and identified key features of rock. They sang ‘Livin’ on a prayer’, played an instrumental part and improvised. This week they worked in groups and composed their own tune in a style of rock. The most difficult part was to perform their compositions with the backing track.
