Dear Parents and Carers,
Over the last two weeks the children have been learning about Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday. Today we observed a 2 minute silence to pay our respects and remember those who have bravely defended and protected our way of life. We have some incredible work on display around school.
This week, we have received wonderful feedback from a visitor who came to school on Tuesday to train our Year 6 Sports Crew- “The Sports Crew at Mead are a credit to the school. Attentive, sensible, kind and enthusiastic…” This was just part of the feedback received and we are very proud of our Sports Crew who work with our younger children at lunchtimes to encourage play and lead activities. A huge well done to Fareeda, Sophia, Zachary, Lottie, Millie, Esmai, Olivia, David As, Alexis (China) Tehzeeb, Oghomwen, Lenny, Tilly, Arya, Bella, Zachary, Jared, George (India), Seiar, Sara, Haydar, Natas, Alfie, Paige, Leo, Cattleya, Junior and Skye (Malaysia)
