From the Habbit Factory
Firstly, apologies for the sombre nature of this email.
In light of today’s latest government guidelines, it is with much regret that the board of trustees have unanimously taken the decision to postpone this year’s performance at The Queens Theatre to a later date. The advice from the PM is to avoid pubs, clubs and theatres, non-essential travel and contact with others. Those at most risk are the elderly, pregnant women and those with underlying health issues. As we fall within the latter category with some of our members, we have also taken the precautionary measure to postpone all after-school and workshop sessions from this eveningonwards until we are given the official all-clear to start back up again. We understand that the decisions we have taken will impact the lives of Lee and Hannah, our Blue T’s, our members and their families and carers, but this is an unprecedented global crisis and our actions are being taken with the best interests of everyone involved.
We will keep you all posted as and when we have any further developments, but for now, please keep safe and well, and hopefully this awful virus will soon be behind us.
Yours sincerely
