6th March 2020

Dear Parents,
We hope the children enjoyed World Book Day.They certainly looked wonderful in their costumes.

Thank you for all your hard work in preparing them for the day.In school we had a really good day

and the children celebrated the joy of books.

Thank you to the parents that supported our Dementia coffee morning. We really appreciate you taking the time to support us.

Can we please remind you that if your child is going to be absent from school you should

contact the school .Staff are spending a lot of their time calling to enquire why children are absent.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

We would like to reassure you that we are closely following the coronavirus guidelines for schools.

We have spoken to all children across the school about the importance of good hand washing and

the guidelines clearly state that schools should remain open.We will continue to monitor the situation

and keep you updated on any changes that may occur.

Please can we remind you that Mead school is a smoke free area.We have had some complaints

about parents smoking inside the school gate.

Please ensure that you are driving and parking with care outside of the school gates, we want to

make sure that all of our children and families stay safe. Please do not park on the yellow lines

or across people’s drives.
Thank You!
