Dear Parents,
We want our children to be in school as regularly as possible as we are aware of the positive impact this has on their education. However, as far as giving medication is concerned we are governed by the Policy produced by the Local authority.
SO -In line with the Havering policy we are unable to give medication unless prescribed by a doctor.
In the case a child has been prescribed antibiotics we will give it if it is required 4x daily but not 3x daily as this can be managed at home.
Parents requesting we give medication must go to the reception office where they will be required to complete a form.
If you think your child will need to take unprescribed medication during the day we are happy for you to come into school to give it. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes but we do have to comply with L.A. guidelines.

Well done to them! The overall attendance was once again disappointing at 94.6%- which is below our target!
