Update from Head Boy and Head Girl
Hello all!
What an exciting half term year 6 have had!
. The trip to Duxford
. The WWII workshop
. The Romford war memorial
First of all, the trip to Duxford was a great experience for Year 6 to have a life like view on their understanding of the war with hundreds and hundreds of air crafts and with their realistic pieces .Many of the pupils would say it was a momentous moment in year 6!
The workshop was something to remember. We were able to see authentic objects/evidence of how
different times were back then and gave the pupils a greater understanding of life under Hitler.
We also took a half a day trip to Romford memorial to pay our respects and remember those who fought in war or perished. Many were intrigued about the matter a fellow year six had to state " It was a depressing matter to dive into."
Thank you for reading. We hope everyone has a lovely half-term and we'll be back soon with more of our learning!
