Year 3 WOW day challenge!

As part of the children's new earthquake topic, they were given the challenge to make a structure out of marshmallows and spaghetti that would withstand an earthquake.

It was really important that they worked as a group. After they had completed their structures, we shook the table to see if the structure was strong enough to withstand an earthquake. They were all very excited about the WOW afternoon and are looking forward to learning more about earthquakes.
