Brazil class went on an emotional journey through time at the London Docklands Museum yesterday.
We had a great day exploring the exhibitions, walking along the docks and of course all comparing our packed lunches!
The class were able to explore their topic of slavery in greater depth and could not believe how much people suffered. A true reflection on how kind our children at Mead are!
The children met a character called Ellen Craft who fought her way to freedom, after being born into slavery. She told the story with such conviction that the children thought she was the real lady!
