Forest School

Forest layers and birds kept everyone on their toes yesterday. Birdsong books were popular for those trying to listen to birdsong and identify which bird the song was coming from. Lots of children enthusiastically made a range of bird feeders using birdseed, lard and even cheerios. Hopefully the birds will enjoy their forest feast today.

Others made the most of the forest layers digging at ground level and making dens at the shrub level. It was fantastic the see the children's imaginations developing and building on their ideas.
