Term: Spring 1 Date: 09.01.17
Dear Parents,
It was lovely to see the children settle back to
school so enthusiastically. The first traditional tale of The Little Red Hen was very popular with the
children clearly gaining the understanding that the poor little red hen should have had some help from her
friends. The children particularly enjoyed making and
tasting the bread on Friday. Our next traditional tale will be the story of the Gingerbread man and the children will be having fun hunting for the gingerbread man.Thank you to Jamaica class for helping Miss McDonald to settle at Mead Primary School. Despite the weather being much colder than Australia Miss McDonald had a lovely week.
