Thank you to all the Thames Chase volunteers who have been creating our nature area. Over several visits the team have created fire pits, built bug hotels, dug a pond and will soon be building our planting beds.
We believe in giving the pupils a wide range of opportunities to explore the natural environment. This sensory garden/nature area will provide a calm, quiet place for our pupils to look at a variety of plant and wild life.
The fire pits will be a great place to listen to stories, toast marshmallows and talk about what they have learnt.
