This potion had to be made of 3 different liquids, all of different amounts so that when mixed together, the total capacity equals 500ml.
Some children chose amounts such as 100ml, 250ml and 150ml.
The children had to measure their liquids accurately using measuring jugs and by reading the scales carefully.
Group 3 measured their liquids with precision as when mixed together, the capacity of their potion was exactly 500ml!
