On Thursday we teamed up with Broadford, as a learning Federation, and took 9 children from years 5 and 6, to take part in a Havering Tag Rugby Competition at May and Bakers Rugby Club. There were 50 schools taking part. We played 7 games in the group stages winning 4 drawing, 2 and losing 1. We finished 2nd in the group and qualified for the quarter finals. We won the quarter finals in extra time 3-2 to progress to the semifinals to play St Joseph’s. The game went to extra time again but unfortunately we lost 2-1. The children played very well all day and were awarded with a Prize for playing honestly throughout all their games. So a massive well done to Lenny A, Nelson H, Vilius P, Luke G, Abbie H and Lia S- You are fantastic role models for Mead school.

Parents/Carers please be reminded- all PE kits should be back in school now and should remain in school until the end of term.
