THANK YOU ASDA and Liz!
Asda provide Mead with a member of staff who helps out in year 2 on a Wednesday.
Thanks to that support and to Asda we were fortunate enough to be able to take part in a delicious
food tasting session where the children enjoyed trying a variety of different breads.
This links with our Science, DT and history work.
The Great Fire of London started in a bakery. Our pizza bases are made of bread and bread belongs to the carbohydrate group. Lots of reasons for this experience!
All the children tried bread they had never tasted.
'I never knew there were so many different flavour breads' said Olivia.
Madagascar's favourite bread was the Mediterranean bread.
It was lovely to see the children trying chilli bread, sour dough and many other types,
Vansh and Rocco loved the spicy bread. Vansh said his dad likes lots of chillies.
