Year six have the opportunity to go to Hackney Empire on the 23rd March to watch an incredible new show by Michael Morpurgo. The show is called 'Running wild' and is about a young girl surviving a Tsunami by riding away with an elephant into the jungle.
In order to fund our trip, we have decided that we are going to raise the funds in a variety of ways.
After school every day next week, we will be setting up stalls in the infant and junior playgrounds to sell crisps, sweets and cakes. The children will be selling, calculating costs and finding profit percentages, which is linked to the work they are doing in their math lessons.
