On Monday our year one classes were lucky enough to take a trip into London to the Barbican Centre. Our journey into the city started off on the train which was a lot of fun! We were especially excited to ride past the West Ham ground where we tried to spot our friend Bubbles who came to visit our school last week.
Next we walked hand in hand through the busy London streets, amazed by all the tall buildings we could see. Once we arrived at the Barbican it was time for the main event, the Stan and Mabel show. The show was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and it was spectacular. The children really enjoyed singing along and listening to the story that they have now become so familiar with.
All the teachers were so impressed with how all of our children behaved, they were a credit to our school!
